Essentria IC Pro, previously known as Essentria IC3, is a plant-based insecticide developed by Zoecon. It is specifically designed to effectively eliminate flying and crawling pests in both indoor and outdoor areas, particularly those that require special consideration, such as livestock facilities.

This liquid solution is derived from natural sources and contains active ingredients extracted from essential oils. The key components include geraniol (10.0%), clove oil (3.0%), and cornmint oil (1.5%). These ingredients work together to target insects like silverfish or pillbugs, providing noticeable results in as little as four days.

Essentria IC Pro is an ideal choice for homeowners, cannabis and hemp growers, and livestock owners who are dealing with active pest infestations affecting their property or food crops. It offers an environmentally friendly pest control solution. Importantly, when applied, it emits low fragrance and has low phytotoxicity, meaning it won't harm plants or release offensive odors that may disrupt the surrounding environment.

Tools Needed:

To apply Essentria IC Pro effectively, you can choose from a range of tools including handheld pump sprayers, backpack sprayers, professional skid sprayers, hose-end sprayers, compressed air sprayers, power sprayers, mist sprayers, mist blowers, automated spray systems, or other related application technologies.

How to Apply:

Step 1: Begin by calculating the amount of Essentria IC Pro needed for your treatment area. Measure the length and width of the area in feet, then multiply these measurements to determine the square footage (length x width = square footage). Depending on the type of pest, use 1 to 8 fluid ounces of Essentria IC Pro per gallon of water. Mix the final dilution using 2 gallons of solution per 1,000 square feet for indoor sites. For fog applications, mix 1 to 8 fluid ounces of product per 1 gallon of diluted spray and apply at a rate of 1 to 8 fluid ounces per 1,000 cubic feet. For outdoor use and perimeter applications, dilute 1 to 8 fluid ounces of product per gallon of water, and apply at a rate of 2 gallons per 1,000 square feet or until the area is thoroughly wet.

Step 2: Prepare your sprayer by filling it halfway with water. Add the measured amount of Essentria IC Pro to the sprayer. Fill the remaining half of the sprayer with water and securely close the lid. Shake the sprayer vigorously until the solution is thoroughly mixed.

Step 3: Indoors, apply the mixed Essentria IC Pro solution to cracks, crevices, niches, dark corners, drains, and other areas where insects may hide. Outdoors, spray the solution up to 3 feet on the structure and 6 to 10 feet wide around the building, including the surrounding vegetation. Additionally, apply the solution around potential entry points such as eaves, windows, doorways, porches, porch lights, and utility boxes. If you are using fogging equipment for space sprays, make sure to cover or remove exposed food and protect food handling surfaces. Also, cover sensitive surfaces like plastics. Close and turn off air conditioning or ventilation equipment, and keep the area closed for at least 15 minutes.

Step 4: Repeat the application of Essentria IC Pro as needed to maintain control against the target pests in specific areas. If you are targeting mosquitoes, wait for at least 4 days after the last application before spraying again. In livestock facilities, wait between 14 to 21 days before reapplying this product.

For indoor use, this product can be applied in various settings, including but not limited to apartment buildings, agricultural buildings, bakeries, barns, beverage plants, bottling facilities, breweries, cafeterias, candy plants, canneries, cereal processing and manufacturing plants, child care facilities, daycare centers, food trucks, frozen food plants, furniture and bedding (note: sensitive indoor/outdoor surfaces require caution), garages, greenhouses, grower facilities, homes, hospitals, healthcare facilities, hotels, houses, indoor plantscapes, industrial buildings, jail cells, kennels, kitchens, laboratories, lavatories, manufacturing facilities, mausoleums, meat processing and packaging plants, meat and vegetable canneries, military barracks, motels, multifamily homes, museums, nursing homes, outbuildings, prison facilities, research facilities, storage closets, storage sheds, office buildings, restrooms, retail stores, schools, stores, supermarkets, warehouses, and similar structures. In addition, Essentria IC Pro can be safely used on cannabis, hemp, and unspecified food crops, as well as on boats, buses, trucks, trailers, rail cars, marine vessels, and cargo vessels.

For outdoor use, Essentria IC Pro can be applied to various areas, including but not limited to barns, boat houses, boat docks, building foundations, dairy facilities, drains and sewers, drive-in restaurants, drive-in theaters, feed lots, fence lines, golf courses, greenhouses, hog barns, kennels, landscape areas, lawns, lathe houses, livestock facilities, loading docks, marinas, mink farms, mushroom houses, outdoor food service areas, parks, playgrounds, poultry houses, recreational areas, schools, stables, trees, turf, urban areas, and zoos.

Please note that Essentria IC Pro should not be directly applied to house plants.

When to Apply:

Essentria IC Pro is designed to be applied promptly when pest activity is suspected or confirmed. Given that flying insects have the ability to move in and out of the treatment area, it is advisable to incorporate this product into an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program. Please note that premise sprays in livestock facilities should not be conducted when animals are present.
